THE HUMAN BONE MANUAL

The Human Bone Manual by White and Folkens (better known as White and Folkens) is THE osteology manual to have when practicing anthropology and carrying out osteological analyses. It covers everything one needs to know in osteology, from noted bone variations to bone disorders.

This atlas is indispensable if you want to improve your knowledge of anatomy which is essential for the study of osteology. It’s the most complete and most accessible book. There are also information cards for each part of the body. The 6th edition also has an online version (cheaper).

FASE

FASE (Forensic Anthropology Society of Europe) is THE society one has to join when one wants to be a forensic (or legal) anthropologist.  The site has the most up-to-date forensic news about renowned researchers, forthcoming events or training offered by the society and, most importantly, worldwide job vacancies.
